We’ll keep this short this week.

2 rounds ago we were 250th, then 130th last week, and we continue to climb our way back, restoring at least a little faith in #battletheory starting round 16 in 108th with 5 from 7!

So what does round 16 have in store for us? All the tips are locked in below, and we have one to crowdsource…

From 250th, back up to 130th in the rankings with 4 from 5 right. It was just those chookies that messed it up for us, and not for the first time this season.

Below are the tips for the week, and #battletheory can’t decide between a Bronco and a Panther…. over to you folks!

We got smashed this week and sank to a lowly 250th position.

That said we are still only 8 correct tips off the lead, and we can turn this around with a few good weeks.

Sometimes Origin throws up a strange set of results and I think last week it did in particular! Just 3 right and a short slide down the ladder to 135th, and still in touch with the leaders. The $10k is still within reach, so without delay we’ll check out the tipping according to #battletheory.

The Tigers will maul the doggies – a good beat I think!
The Eel will survive the Storm – ummm not so happy with this one.
The Rooster, on land will of course survive the Sharks attack
A Dragon will make light work of a Warrior.
The Cowboy will find his range on the Rabbit.
The Knights armour will allow victory over the Panther

So that leaves two for us to vote on:

This week it’s bigger than Origin. #battletheory just got personal…..for the first time, #Battletheory in 3D – The Sea Eagles v the Broncos…. or our Daemon digital crew Katy Daniells for Manly (@katydaniells) v Mandi Bateson for Brisbane (@mab397). It’s mate against mate – and state against state.

So who do you vote for? @katydaniells or @mab397 – most votes wins and gets the #battletheory vote for week 13.

The Raiders at home to the Titans also presents an interesting history lesson.

In the NFL, the New York Jets, originally named the New York Titans when the team began in 1960, and renamed in 1963 went on to beat the Oakland Raiders in the 1968 AFC Championship, so I pick the Titans!

Week 11 for #battletheory wasn’t too bad, we leapt from 99th to 57th on the leaderboard. Just 6 correct tips behind the leaders, this thing is still on!

According to #battletheory however we may be in for a tough week!

Let’s take a look.

The Sharks to beat the Broncos in the sea…. It’s Origin and the broncos never back up after Origin, so we may be in with a shot, plus the sharks are coming off a win.

A Titan should take a Rooster at home if he is worth his metal.

The Storm will reap havoc on the doggies, and a Cowboy should dispose of the Sea Eagle with a well-timed shot.

The Panthers will make a meal of the Rabbits, despite both coming off wins.

The Dragon will suck down an Eel, and the Tiger will hunt down and make a meal of the Warrior.

Now that is a first, not one to pick this week, #battletheory has them all covered.

So the real question is BLUE or the maroons??

Crowdsourcing for social good #battletheory round 11

Week 10 was madness….we picked the first 5 and the ranking flew up to the 50′s again.

The run was short-lived with the next 3 wrong, still 5 aint bad, and we remain in the game in 99th position. It’s tight at the top and one or two tips can make a huge difference. We just need to string a few together and we are back in business.

Week 11 continues the madness with votes needed on a few games for the first time.

#battletheory will take on the Dragons to beat the Raiders, the Warriors to skin the Rabbit, and a Panther to feast on the Bulldog.

And that leaves us two games for the short round to have a crack at it…

The Eels at home to the Sharks…who? and why?

The Knight v The Tiger… I reckon the Knight stands a chance here, and the armour will be the saviour. What say ye all?
